SANDY MYHRE   The first woman member of NZ Motoring Writers' Guild, first woman member and first President of the NZ Motorsport Media Association.  Motorsport Journalist of the Year in 2007 among other motoring journalism awards.

She chose to live in the Bay of Islands in 2010 and her home is in NZ's first capital, Okiato. 

She is the author of six non-fiction books - five on motor racing and her latest book Whanau Tautoko is a summary of thirty years of Mid North Family Support and Rape Crisis.
